Keys to the Jeep by Dikembe

Latest release from FL based emo/indie punk band Dikembe is “Keys to the Jeep” a song off of their soon to be released split with Pet Symmetry. Sounds like pretty typical Dikembe, maybe a bit more mature and resonant, very good production, I don’t have all too much to say on the matter, but I certainly enjoyed it and look forward to their future releases.

So Mike Kinsella, Evan Weiss and Matthew Frank decide to up and start a project together. Naturally, when I found out that this was a thing, I squealed like a prepubescent girl and promptly spread egg whites and bread crumbs all over my naked body.

But seriously folks, Their / They’re / There’s debut EP is one of the best emo/math rock releases I’ve ever heard, and I hope to whatever god is up there that this project sticks around.

Neutral Milk Hotel expanded their reunion tour to include more dates, (which, oddly, doesnt include Portland, OR, douche capital of the earth, or for that matter, THREE QUARTERS OF THE FUCKING COUNTRY) even more people are freaking out about it, and tickets are almost certainly going to be fucktupled the amount that I would ever pay to see a band that sings about how much they love a chick that’s been dead for almost 70 years.
